In my home village, where I was born and grew, there were many farms and rice fields.
On the way home from school, I saw a truly colorful paradise.
Yellow color of rape blossoms. White wings of fluttering cabbage butterflies.
Running after them with a net in my hand, a stream was murmuring under my feet.
In the water, blue sky was reflected, Red of crawfish, black of tadpole.
Green mountains rose in the distance.
My wood carving is the extension of my handicraft class at my primary school.
This is a tiny world on which a clumsy artist, with the generous support from many
people, has been working assiduously for more than 40years.
Though I feel shy, please look at my works.
